METALITE Metalite was formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 2015 when Edwin Premberg [guitar] met Emma Bensing [vocals]. He presented his musical ideas and vision to her, and she agreed to join the band. The goal was to write and record melodic and memorable metal songs with a modern and fresh sound. Edwin and Emma started to co-operate with the Danish producer Jacob Hansen [Volbeat, Evergrey, Amaranthe] and songs started to take shape. During 2016 Metalite found three experienced musicians that agreed to join the band: Lea Larsson [drums], Robert Örnesved [guitar] and Robert Majd [bass]. A deal was signed with the Swedish label Inner Wound Recordings, and the Metalite debut album "Heroes In Time"was released in October 2017. "Afterlife", the first single from the first album showcase the Metalite sound in a perfect way, but other songs from the album like "Nightmare", "Heroes In Time" or "Purpose of Life" are just as likely to become fan favorites. In 2019 the line-up and Emma was replaced by the fantastic and talented singer Erica Ohlsson and a new label contract was signed with AFM Records.

WEAPON NWOBHM band Weapon, led by vocalist/frontman Danny Hynes, were formed in 1980. Within 6 months they had signed a worldwide publishing deal with Virgin Music and opened for Motörhead on their 32 date ‘Ace Up Your Sleeve’ UK tour. They released the double A sided single ‘It’s A Mad Mad World’ / ‘Set The Stage Alight’ which reached number 2 in Sounds Magazine’s Top 20. Due to poor management the bad split after a couple of years. Fast forward to 2005... The original line-up were invited to play Headbangers-Open-Air festival in Germany to a rapturous reception. Danny and long time guitarist Jeff Summers decided to write some songs together and in 2010 they reunited on a permanent basis. Original drummer Bruce Bisland was unable to commit as he is a full time member of 70’s Glamrockers Sweet and unfortunately original bassist Baz Downes was too ill to take part. (Baz sadly passed away on the 16th of November 2020). The band would release three critically acclaimed albums, "Rising From The Ashes" in 2014, "Set The Stage Alight – The Anthology" (featuring the 1980 recordings) in 2018 and "Ghosts Of War" in 2019 (which featured ex-Thundermother vocalist Clare Cunningham on the title track). Weapon have toured Europe extensively over the years rebuilding a loyal following. 2020 when the pandemic hit and everything stopped guitarist Jeff Summers quit the band.

2021 Danny decides to totally reinvent WEAPON and make it more powerful than before and to really embrace the "NWOBHM-label". With his good friend Robert Majd (Metalite / Captain Black Beard) alongside him they begin writing songs for the next album. Although still receiving treatment for prostate cancer, long time Weapon-bassist Tony Forsythe records bass parts on the entire album remotely in London. Meanwhile Robert recruits a bunch of Sweden's finest musicians to record the album at Wing Studios. The album, titled "New Clear Power", also features guest appearancnes by Steve Mann (MSG, Lionville) and Tino Troy (Praying Mantis) and was released in May 2023 via Pride & Joy Records.
