Two generations collide: Reverend Beat-Man, one-man band and King of Blues Trash meets Milan Slick, The Darkest Soul of Bern, fresh and vibrant, dark synth rock'n'roll punk.
Their first collaboration was in 2020 during the great pandemic, when they wrote a live soundtrack for the vampire film "A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night." They then began performing together and creating music, culminating in an album called "Reverend Beat-Man and the Underground." Their music accompanies a macabre dance party that, with rock'n'roll and dancing, is headed towards its ultimate demise. The one-man band and uncrowned king of primitive rock'n'roll Reverend Beat-Man meets the fragile, dark, cultivated, dreamy, and playful soul of Milan Slick. In 2025, they recorded their first album together in Bern, Switzerland, with Sebastian Zwahlen (The Monsters, Sha Blah) and Robert Butler (Miracle Workers). The shows took place in endless, sweaty clubs, including Super Sonic Records, Petit Bain (Paris), SO36 (Berlin), and the Palp Festival, among others.
REVEREND BEAT-MAN aka Lightning Beat-Man the wrestling Rock’n’Roll cult Superstar (1992-1999) Reverend Beat-Man is a one-man band with the mission to spread blues trash and wild Rock’n’Roll all over the Globe.
Born in 1967 in Bern the picturesque Switzerland, in the middle of the summer of love and hate, is as well the lead singer and guitarist of Switzerland's longest running ultra garage trash band, The Monsters (1986), and founder of Voodoo Rhythm Records. Paid shows all over the world in Europe, North and South America, Japan, Vietnam, New Zealand, Australia, Africa, in clubs like CBGBs, Montreux Jazz, Muddy Roots, Shelter Tokyo, etc. If he were a politician, even his enemies would respect him (the federal government). and was nominated for the Swiss Music Prize in 2014, won the local music prize as the most influential musician in Bern (capital of Switzerland) and runs a record and curio shop in Bern.
Singer-songwriter and filmmaker MILAN SLICK, born in 2004, is still at the very beginning of his career, performing as a solo artist or with his band Fatigues and collaborating with renowned artists such as Mario Batkovic, Bürgis Quest, and Finja Kejo. His music draws influences from Nick Cave and David Bowie, among others, but his unique voice always shines through, and we hope to hear more of it in the future.
