STARCRAFT REMASTERED - LAN FEST @ Hjelmsjöborg

Jacked up and good to go!

At long last, the holy grail of strategy games enters our LAN festival, bringing with it a weekend full of desperate defenses against overwhelming Zerglings, invisible Dark Templars, and the terrifying Yamato gun of the Battlecruisers! Get ready for total chaos at this year’s crash site, which we’ve set up at Hjelmsjöborg!

We’ll be playing in teams, and everyone is welcome—whether you're a seasoned Starcraft veteran or a complete newbie. (And yes, we’ll also be playing other classics like AOE II, Red Alert, Unreal Tournament, CS 1.6, and more—just like always!)

Expect dirty strategies, great vibes, nostalgia, fun activities, live acts, easter eggs, gourmet street food, and fun snacks (both edible and playable)—all wrapped up in this year’s theme: “OVERRUN.”

Take your shot at winning the title of "Grand Strategy Master" and have your name immortalized on this year’s statue! Grab a cocktail, game with friends, dive into nostalgia, eat awesome street food, and relive the best times of your life with us!

Invite your friends or coworkers—think of it as a mini-vacation, a reunion, or a place to meet new people. Come with a team or get teamed up with amazing people on site. Saturday is the main event, but you can also add Friday and/or Sunday to make it a full weekend. See the schedule below:

FRIDAY (New this year) – Pre-party / "Fredagsmys 3000"

We’re finally opening up the long-awaited Friday experience! For those who want to kick off the weekend early, Friday now offers an epic warm-up day with food, drinks, freeplay LAN, arcade and pinball machines, and guaranteed nostalgia and trivia.

SATURDAY – The LAN Festival

Starcraft 1 Remastered Tournament with our unique token system. Fight side by side with your team both IRL and in-game.

Our all-inclusive concept covers all meals for the day, snacks, candy, fika, soft drinks, and coffee. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the bar. Scroll down for the full schedule.

For those who want to stick around, Day 3 continues with a big brunch and the now classic Game Quiz in the castle! Time for revenge?

🔧 Good to Know:

Bring your own computer (laptop/desktop) along with mouse and headphones. The games we play don’t require high-end specs, and you don’t need to be a pro gamer—but you must have the main game installed and tested beforehand.

We’ll also play Counter-Strike 1.6, Age of Empires II, Red Alert (via OpenRA), Starcraft 1, and whatever else people feel like. Modern games welcome too.
