Completely Unreal!
The first FPS game takes the stage at our LAN festival, and it’s nothing less than the adrenaline-pumping, shock-inducing, and legendary Unreal Tournament 99! Get ready for a full "RAMPAGE" in deep space with us! We'll play in teams, and everyone is welcome, regardless of whether they've played Unreal before (we'll also play other games like AOE II, Red Alert, CS 1.6, etc., just like we usually do). Yes, there will be headshots, camaraderie, nostalgia, activities, live acts, easter eggs, gourmet street food, and fun snacks (both edible and playable), all tailored to this year’s theme "Deep Space Rampage".
This weekend, Hjelmsjöborg Castle will transform into a mining complex in outer space. Take the chance to win the title of Grand Champion and be freed from the slavery of the mines. Grab a cocktail, game, talk nostalgia, enjoy great street food, and relive the best time of your life with us! Bring your friends or colleagues and see it as a mini-vacation, reunion, or a place to meet new people. Come as a team or find fantastic teammates on-site.
Day 1: Unreal Tournament 99 - Tournament with our unique token system. Fight with your team both IRL and in the game. Our "all inclusive" concept includes food for the whole day, coffee breaks, snacks, candy, soft drinks & coffee. Other drinks & alcoholic beverages can be purchased at the bar. Day 2: For those who want, the event continues on Day 2 with brunch and the now-celebrated game quiz in the castle! Time for a rematch?!
Bring your own computer (laptop/desktop) with a mouse and headphones. The games we play don’t require a supercomputer, and you don’t have to be great at the game, but you must have pre-installed and tested the main game at home. Everyone can join.
We will also play Counter-Strike 1.6, Age of Empires 2, Red Alert (openRA), & Starcraft 1 or whatever you feel like. More info about this is in the booking email.
